Photography Planning

This image i designed for the "Enter Page" and will be the first photograph that the audience will see when logging on to my site. For this reason the image has to be powerful and really has to grab the audiences attention and i believe by capturing this close-up shot of a dishevelled girl branding alcohol (which is one of the factors our campaign website is aimed at, i think that i will achieve this. Also, i planned it so that the model in the image is looking directly at the viewer, which creates a sense of interaction.
The image is going to be converted into black and white to bring emphasis on the darker sections of the image, which could be seen as representing "the negative side of drug/alcohol abuse" and the consequences, which we cover with in the website.
As it is the first page we will need a conventional logo in the left top hand corner which will be made into a link and will take the viewer in to the "Title Page".

This will be one of the only colour photographs on our website as it does not need to portray anything negative, but instead shows that there is a brighter side if you seek help. The idea is that i will take a picture of some lockers at school and select 6 doors to open, the title of each page will be located in an individual locker, and the lockers to represent school life. This will mean that as a large proportion of our audience will be around 16-19 and will still be at school they will feel like they can relate to this.

This image is designed for the "Worried About Someone" page in which viewers can find the answers to commonly asked questions. This image like all others will be de-saturated so that it is in black and white, and will be edited in the program "Photoshop" so enhance the black areas and give the image a darker feel. This image represents the idea of isolation, the head buried in the knees could be seen as a defensive position as people who turn to drugs or alcohol often feel that they are alone. I am planning to write "HELP" on the hand of the model, as i believe it would be a good innuendo that the addicts do seek help, even if it is not verbal. I believe this could have a good effect because it may be that parents access this page to try and help their children.

For the "Alcohol Page" I thought I would keep it nice and simple. Keeping it consistent with the black and white theme I'm going to take a picture of a bottle of vodka, which obviously represents alcohol and keeps to the conventions, which is that the pictures on campaign websites always relate to the content.
